In order to enhance its organizations' and its nation's quality of services, the government of the United Arab Emirates took it upon itself to implement initiatives to improve efficiency. A big chunk of this quality improvement was brought about by Information and Communications Technology (ICT) not only in the private sector, but also in the public sector. The UAE acknowledges the importance of e-Government in its journey to excellence, for it has played a big role to the quantum leap in service delivery and customer service.
